I tried everything, even changed the public port, and nothing.
So I tried reinstalling PMS, and it seems to be working.
Ugh. it lasted 1/2 an hour and it’s back to dropping the remote access
Uninstalling the Plex Media Server isn’t changing anything about the overall remote access situation in your setup.
When you say you tried everything… to what outcome?
Have you verified your router’s manual port forward is active and accessible from outside your home network?
Have you verified your ISP is assigning a publicly routable IPv4 address to your router?
Do the public IP address identified by Plex (as visible in the remote access settings) and that visible on your router match?
If there’s multiple active network components… have you verified they’re either all relying on your router to assign IP addresses (bridge mode for everything except your router) or each of them has a proper port forward configuration from the router through every subnet to the machine hosting your PMS?
