WinTV-quadHD USB installation on Synology DS916+

Server Version#: 1.20.1.3252-a78fef9a9
Player Version#: NA
Tuner Make/Model: Hauppaugel WinTV-quadHD USB
Guide/Lineup name: NA
Using XMLTV?: NA
Channel number/Name: NA

I am running PLEX Server on a Synology DS916+ and it is able to be accessed from my local network and internet without any issues.
I purchased a Hauppauge WinTV-quadHD USB TV Tuner to get local broadcasts and for the Plex DVR functions, but cannot find installation instructions other than for Ubuntu and don’t know if that will work.
I have already tried to just plug the usb tuner into the Synology but Plex never found the device and figured that it needs to be installed.

Any help to point me to the correct place would be much appreciated!

I can add the drivers to my TV/Media drivers app if you’re willing to test it.

I know absolutely nothing about windows. I know almost everything about Linux media drivers and provide packages and support for dozens of architectures. It’s kind of my jerb.
