Just a quick question. For a movie library under the Recommended tab, how exactly does Plex decide what movies show up as “Recently Released”? Only a single movie from 2019 shows up. I have at least two movies from 2019.
Mine shows everything back to one year ago today. It is the same as when looking at the library and sorting by release date. I think there is a limit of 200-ish. I haven’t added that many 2019/2020 movies, so can’t say for certain.
Example: Today is 06 Oct 2020. Recently Released lists Zombieland Double Tap, which was released on 09 Oct 2019. It does not list Joker, which was release 02 Oct 2019.
Edit the movie and check the “Originally Available” field. That is the release date. If this is missing, then it won’t show up.
@FordGuy61 @anon18523487 Thanks. It all makes sense now. The movie that was showing up for me had a release date of 17 Oct 2019, and the one that was not showing up had a release date of 07 June 2019.
