Old movies show up as recently released

For movies with no big public releases, Plex always pulls the latest IMDB release as the “originally available” release date. This is an old issue that has not been fixed, random old movies pop up the recently released section left and right. For example, Time to Love (1965) - IMDb, The Shadow Play (2018) - IMDb to name a few.

Are plex guys intend to fix this or are they just going to leave it as is?
