Worked for about 1 minute...then nuttin'.

I was really excited by the option of using PlexConnect and was able to install it effortlessly.  Make the changes on my AppleTV 2, when to Trailers and saw all my videos, etc..  Played one video for about 30 seconds to test.  Jumped out of the Trailers application and went to Netflix to see if that work.  Netflix didn't seem to connect to the internet.  Went back to Trailers and now that wasn't working.  Since then, I have been unable to make it work.

 

1.  I restarted the Apple TV.  (not working)

2.  Restarted my MacMini.  (not working)

 

I"m very new to this, so I'm not sure what else I should try or need to provide to find a solution.  I can access Plex via my iPhone app (which is awesome!), so I know the Mac Mini is working.

 

Thoughts?

okay, I think I discovered the problem.  I reinstalled the PlexConnect and now it seems to be working.

Quick question--do I need to keep the Terminal program running at all times too?  I realized that once I closed that, then that is when it stopped working.  The instructions don't mention this part.

Yes terminal has to be running… or you create a launchctl script that runs in the background.
