Working server for macOS Monterey?

The current and beta versions of the server crash on load on Monterey and therefore I can’t run/load anything Plex related.

Does anyone know which is the latest version (if there is one) that will work with Monterey? And bonus points if you can point me to an active download link!

Many thanks!

As a prefix, I wouldn’t recommend any Plex users install the Apple betas on devices they use for media playback. There are audio playback issues with Plex on the iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, and macOS betas.

I’m not having that issue on an Intel Mac w/ macOS 12.0 beta 2.

Plex Media Server 1.23.4.4712 worked, so does 1.23.4.4805.

What symptoms are you experiencing? Perhaps there is another problem.

The only thing that has changed is moving the server device to macOS Monterey - there are no other symptoms - the server app literally crashes immediately when launched.

/Applications/Plex\ Media\ Server.app/Contents/MacOS/Plex\ Media\ Server ; exit;

Any Updates? Did you get it working? I’m thinking of upgrading my iMac Pro to the beta for some other non-plex functionality I would like to mess with but I don’t want to do that if it will make Plex inoperable. Thanks

Yes, it’s all working now. It took a number of attempts to completely uninstall (including all the hidden caches, temp files etc) and reinstall Plex, but it finally worked. Slight pain having to re-setup the server and content again, but not the end of the world.
