You can’t just rename things and expect a miracle to happen.
You may have to Plex Dance (entire) Shows or Movies after renaming/restructuring in order to clear a bogus bundle written with a bad file name. Basically, if ‘Refresh Metadata’ doesn’t do anything to fix the problem, The Plex Dance probably will - at least we hope so.

About 10% of Plex Matches with TVDB/TMDB are going to come up lame - so if that happens, Fix Match is your only option at that point, but the first step is correct file names and structures.
Note: Yes, Refresh Metadata should, as the name implies, Refresh the Metadata, but unfortunately The Plex Dance was invented all those years ago when Refresh Metadata doesn’t do anything in the Metadata Refreshing area.
The Plex Dance will absolutely Refresh The Metadata - 'cause it’s a ‘Complete Do-Over’. A Start From Scratch with a brand new bundle. Hopefully with a good file name and structure this time, but ONLY if all the Plex Dance Steps are performed in their entirety.
