I have a problem. I would like to have the general interface in English and the rest in German. That works out so far, except for the movie titles.
As you can see, the cover of “Jahrhundertfrauen” in German, the film title in English. Collection names are German instead.
I think that’s a bug, don’t you?
You got me wrong. I want everything in German except the GUI language.
Library language is therefore in German (see screenshot above)
GUI language in Plex Settings is in English.
Artwork is in German (and so it should be).
If i change GUI language to German, movie titles are still English ( I want them German… )
Ahh ok… So sometimes titles aren’t given German language reference in The Movie DB, so it likely defaults to English (if that’s the movies main language). It will be all dependent on if the movie has a german language title in The Movie DB or not
I just checked, it does indeed have German translated titles on The Movie DB for 20th Century Women… Not sure why it’s not pulling it for you… It may be a bug…
Of course not
I’m new to plex and thought Plex has to do that out of the box like Kodi also does.
Will maybe give it a try, but I’m not a fan of Extensions/ Plug-Ins. Maybe I arrange me with English titles and hoping for a base implemantation (my plots are german btw)
Also I’m a little bit confused why this Tutorial links to another database although MovieDB has German plots and movie titles…
