Are you sure? I have updated with the latest version as of today v1.31.1.6733 just because of this reason with my photo library but the issue remains.
The date is okay but the time is a few hrs ahead.
E.g.
The actual photo was taken - July 1st, 2021 8:06 AM
Plex is showing - July 1st, 15:06 (Another issue that I see with 12 hr vs 24 hr clock). I have my clock set to 12 hrs.
OK, confirm your statement - my clock is set ro 24hrs and the shown Captured Time is 1 hr before the recording date shown by Windows, maybe the reason is my timezone (GMT+1) ???
Finally I am glad that the dates are working now and the order is correct.
I have ~20k photos and this is a serious issue for me as the dates Plex seems to assign is often not even related to the photograph metadata.
I intend to digitize many more printed photos so the ability to update metadata on capture and rely on that in Plex poses a problem.
I would prefer if Plex allowed more fields from Metadata to be used to create categories, tags automatically, and to be able to directly edit metadata in Plex view.
The other big issue I have is for photos not displaying a image at all unless opened. There is no clear documentation to indicate what format of images is supported and how.
I have the same issue Photoshop elements photos with just a year or year and month. Can you tell me more about how you added the 1st of the month? I have old photos where I just know the year and not the month or day.
