I have an mkv in Plex that included non hard-coded Arabic subtitles. I uploaded an en.forced.srt file which should only do English subtitles for the non-english parts. On the windows app, it plays perfectly. On the Amazon FireStick, it will only play Arabic subtitles (even with the proper English forced srt selected). When none is selected, no subtitles. So they’re definitely not hard coded.
I have tried clearing the Plex cache on the FireStick. I have deleted the Plex App and re-added. Restarted the Plex server. Nothing is resolving the problem. Making me think this is an issue specific to FireStick since the behavior works as expected on the Windows desktop app.
Anyone else experiencing anything like this?
