Biggest problem I have is with all of my playlists. I have multiple libraries (mystery, general, scifi, horror, etc). Some of my playlists might contain movies from more than one of these libraries. Now that the playlists are “per library” what happens to the ability to “mix” libraries or to have a playlist with a mix of movies and tv episodes?

The Roku app is a total disaster. I HATE the interface, what little of it I can get to work. God, please tell me you aren’t going to implement this for the PC viewer. PLEASE - Roll This Back! If I have to, I can play files in VLC media player for local stuff, and watch on my computer, but that’s not why I built a Plex server.

Not everything needs to be changed, this new design is horrible. Change it back to what it was before. This is a freaking mess. It’s sad that a lot of us bought plex pass then some rocket scientist thinks it’s a bright idea to change and screw up the player app we’ve been using for years.

It makes no sense. Why would it split all the libraries and force you to go in each on to continue watching or see recently added? Thats half the effing point of plex. All media, one place. Unbelievably bad update. Is idiots too harsh a word to describe the knuckle draggers designing this dog sht?

This new update is completely ridiculous & unhinged. First they wreaked the mobile app, now the Roku app. It’s difficult to navigate, inconvenient to use, makes no sense, hides what is important & useful. The home tab doesn’t work, my continue watching is gone, Browse for each library is hidden, Streams are buggy & laggy The new side panel is dumb. Honestly I can’t think of one positive thing that this update makes me feel. We need to rollback and then take this update and delete it, it’s making no one happy. Thanks for ruining my day and raising my blood pressure with this nonsense.

When play does work, it won’t pause, I can’t skip intros, I can’t browse any library, search doesn’t work. Absolute garbage!!

To be sure. My 95 year-old father simply cannot use this interface. He was my primary reason for maintaining media quickly and easily available.

Here is what I have figured out. If you have a Roku TV, uninstall the Plex app entirely. Then reinstall and sign in using your password. This seems to fix a bunch of remote related issues. The interface is still crap. Now to check my Roku stick in the bedroom. Also keep in mind I have a Roku deluxe remote which made all this much harder

Terrible “update” I can’t use it at all. Have to use hdhomerun on roku to watch anything hdhomerun system recorded. The hdhomerun app on roku has been bare minimum functioning. Now it is ten times better than plex because it works in general without soo many bugs.

I absolutely agree. WTH is Plex thinking? At the very least give us the ability to opt for the original experience I paid for all these years, otherwise I will be forced stop paying for Plex Pass monthly and explore other options. I spent 10 minutes last night just trying to find my libraries. This new UI (on my Roku) looks like some corporate attempt to force us to watch commercial TV sources with their ads and interruptions. If I wanted that I’d use my smart TVs built in Samsung channels, or Pluto or other. I just want to watch the TV shows and movies I painstakingly put on my own server drive. I pay a fee monthly and I agree, I don’t want to see On Demand, I don’t want to “Discover” or any of those other options we are now FORCED to weed through. Judging from all the responses Plex better give us a rollback option or they are going to lose many long-term users like myself.
