Hello, I am running Plex on a qnap server ts-451, I can play all videos on my laptop, iPhone and iPad with no issues over wifi. but…
i have an xbox 360 hooked up hard wire or wifi and when i do a low bit-rate I get pixilation. when i do a higher bit-rate I get buffering. I have tried so many different bitrates and don’t have any luck getting a smooth picture. I have a mix of avi, mp4, mkv files at all different formats from 480p to 1080p.
I have settings of “make it hurt” “local- original” “remote- original”
When I first installed plex on xbox360 it didnt play, then an update fixed everything and I got a few weeks of great videos, then the pixilation happened. I did not change anything until after the pixilation, and even then only changed bitrate on the player(xbox), What else can i check?
( i did check cat5 cable and it is great working order- plus hbo go, showtime on demad and amazon prime all work great no buffering or pixilation)
