Xbox one no subtitles

Hi,

I've Plex server setup on my nas and I've got 2 clients :

- on my android tablet,

- on my Xbox One.

 

while the subtitles are correctly displayed on my android tablet. I can't see them on my XboxOne : I can select them in the menu but they wont display..

 

Is there a known issue ? Or should I change some parameters ?

 

note : I've french and english subtitles but none work on my Xbox One.

Right now they have to be burned in to work on the xbox one...you have a nas so i assume it can't transcode.  Once they update it for MKV support it should be fixed...for now you won't get them.

If you can convert files to MP4 with embedded subtitle tracks, those work perfectly with the Xbox One – you can switch the subs on and off just fine.

Mael076, on my Windows client, under settings>servers>agents>TVshows, for TheTVDB I have my first choice set to OpenSubtitles, I keep it logged into my account, and it fetches the subs (two language choices for me EN then FR)  for any device that's connected to the server, even the Xbox One. Goodbye, MKVmerge, you've been swell ;-)
