@WilhelmStroker @ShaGe I agree too. Especially when there’s only 3 items in the menu it really doesn’t seem necessary to have a “drop-down” to get to just 2 more items. I’d prefer to just add Watched and Delete to the main menu. Although, even better would be to have a delete option pop-up after a show was watched, kind of like how TiVo handles the end of an episode.
Watched indicator number on the tv shows browse section still wont update unless I close and reopen plex.
well, just cancelled my subs, because i cant change subtitles … so is kind useless for me, will wait till they add this for xbox one to subs again.
Is it just me or does the Play button on the show page play all episodes regardless of watched status or if you had already started one of the episodes? For me it plays all episodes available for that show from the start of the first episode regardless.
Wondering if it was just me or a bug and if it was already reported.

Its not a bug. That’s the way they made it.

Seriously? Thanks for letting me know, that is a totally useless feature to have then.
Funny how Samrt TV and Android TV apps no longer require plexpass yet the Xbone is far behind them feature wise yet we still have to pay.
I’m really not worried about the money, I am plexpass subscriber and will be for a long time.
Just sayin…
Anything to announce yet about a new Xbox One update…?

Since one of the main features of the Plex Pass is early access to unreleased Plex clients and server versions it actually makes perfect sense.
Once the client is finished and is ready to be released it will no longer be part of the early access program, exactly like the Smart TV and Android TV clients were.
The ‘play’ at season/show level is intended (eventually) to play from the item ‘On Deck’, so the sensible behaviour. It’s not quite there yet, so it’s an oversight rather than a bug

I look forward to that, because it’d make marathoning so much easier.
If something’s not On Deck yet it’d be cool if that play button just played from the first unwatched entry. I have as stubborn show I started watching as a playlist that won’t show up On Deck.
Hey dom…just was wondering if there was any update soon to be coming you can let us know about…i understand with the xbox os in sort of flux it is probably a ways off but just wanted to ask
We’re currently pulling together a meaty bunch of features and fixes into our mainline of development (and have been for the last week or so) and intend to submit a 1.3 very soon, once we’ve been through a round of internal testing.

Is filtering and sorting one of them? That’s a feature I really miss in the Xbox One App.

@“Dom C” And is managed users one of the features? If it is, please make it possible to remember the pin of the last selected user just like on Android. The xbox 360 implementation isn’t very useful since the pin is required every time.
Great to hear.
Maybe you share some of the features once you have sent it over to certification
Happy to share more once we get a build submitted (since testing may still mean we back some of the features out for certification). I’m adding voice controls to the filter/sorts right now (literally shouting at the xbox as I type
) - so still hoping they’ll be there.
Managed users won’t be in 1.3, but it’s likely high on the list for stuff to address in 1.4. Sorry!
Managed Users, as in Home Users? That’s what I’ve been waiting for
Regarding voice control …
Do you plan to translate the app into different languges?
The problem is that I cannot use voice control for the english command words because of my German “voice matrix” (or whatever it is called). I have to pronounce the english word in German so it understands me which is very odd and not working half the time.
For instance I can use the “Select 1, 2, 3, …” by just speaking it german but I am unable to use Play / Resume because I fail to speak it in a way xbox thinks the word would sound.
I appreciate localisation is pretty lacking right now. We are aware of what needs doing, but I’m afraid that won’t be improved for 1.3. I’ll add an issue to track your specific play/resume woes though.
(and yes, managed users == home users without plex.tv accounts. But this isn’t done yet)
