Easily my favorite thing about the Xbox One Plex app is that we have a super responsive inside line to the app, Dom C. Thank you so much for your hard work and taking the time to chat with us in here Dom!
Is it just me or are the episode numbers off? I delete older episodes but the new app shows my episodes always starting with 1. I feel that is confusing when it actually is episode 8…
But I like the new app, love the fact that now all my content is available.

your right, no matter what episode numbers are in there the first episode listed will be 1. hope they can fix that

Doh, that will be fixed in the next update!

Great work Dom and Moussa etc. Certainly getting a lot better. I am still holding out for native subtitle support (my poor NAS) but these added features we are getting are brilliant!
has RT ratings been slowed down on app updates since Ios there been several updates on other apps without RT. i wasn’t sure where to post this, so I posted in the latest app update.

I just tried Plex and this app yesterday (I’ve been a htpc/xbmc user for years) and I’m really impressed, the xbox app can play all my files without transcoding (which is a must, since my server runs on a lowend synology nas), it all works really great!
However, I just discovered (by asking here on the forum) that there is no direct subtitle support, meaning that subtitles need to be encoded into the video by the server. So this makes it impossible for me to get subtitles support 
Are there any plans on adding local subtitle support to the app?
>! (I can’t believe that I might actually, realistically, be able to replace the htpc in my living room with plex on the xbox. If only subtitle support gets fixed, than I can finally retire my old PC. This would be so great!)

We’re looking into subtitle support, but don’t have anything we can yet commit to, I’m afraid. We realise it’s super annoying to drop down to transcodes just for this though.

Single column view for library list
This was a terrible decision. Now my landing page is 90% dominated by content I don’t want nor have any control over. I don’t care about On Deck or What was added, I know… I added it. I have deep genre specific categories and what was four arrow clicks on the remote is now 25 to get to “TV Shows” at the bottom of this ridiculous single column.
Just like on the web app we should have some options on the Xbox “Home” page for Plex. I’ve been a Plex Pass supporter for several years and this is the first time I am honestly bothered enough by a huge change to any aspect of the application that I have given voice to it.
I’d like to see some traction on the idea of having the option to hide the superfluous 90% of the screen content that was added in this latest release or for an option to “just show me my categories” like it was prior to 1.2.1.0.
I’ll give it a little time (months) but I will weigh my continued support on response to a loyal supporter.

I like the single column view, so it’s a matter of opinion. What would be cool is if you could specify the display order of the libraries via a server setting. Right now its alphabetical. But it would be nice to be able to arrange them so you could theoretically make the most used libraries displayed first at the top of the list.

Great update! Would love consistent buttons in the pre-play screen with Roku. Xbox has the “…” Button but the Roku doesn’t (it has the eyeball to mark something as watched). I think this works a bit better. The watched button is dangerously close to delete.
Can’t wait for channels!

I mainly use either Roku and Xbox and I totally agree with this. Easy to hit delete by accident and the … on the roku gives the more movies and related movies, which works better than the icon on the xbox. Would be great to have consistency between the gui’s.
