Everything is hardwired, so not a connection issue. I don’t have this issue with my FireTV Stick 4K or Plex Media Player on my HTPC on the same setup. It’s not a big issue and I have mostly moved on to using my FireTV stick over the Xbox, but my daughter still prefers the Xbox.
Mine does that to on the Xbox one X I’ve learned to live with it,
I found, Direct play on xbox one is the devil…
So, if you have direct play ticked, you always seem to get this odd lag, stutter at the start of any major size files.
The best config i found for xbox is to only have direct stream ticked,
and i have no issues now. You get a black screen at the start for about 2-3seconds then it play without issues.
*That said i did find if the file is x265 then direct stream can have a buffer none network related after 15minutes ;( . so i find myself switching between both

Yea this is the major issue alot of us are dealing with. We get endless buffer loops after 5-20 mins of playback
