Xbox support?

Hello Plex Team,

I’m writing here, because I’m confused by lack of any support from the Plex team. I’ve wrote a few topics about the problems with Xbox Client and didn’t receive absolute no response… The worst thing is that I’ve payed for Plex Pass lifetime which seems to be wasting my money.

Is there anybody here from the Plex team? I have a few questions about the future of the Xbox Client, because I feel that this platform is abandoned and is not developed any more.
There are a dozen of features that are possible to implement on Xbox platform, but since few years are still not available.

The most annoying bugs/lack of functions are:

  1. Lack of LiveTV direct stream support (Kodi does that perfectly right from the beginning),
  2. Transcoding problem - when the DTS (or any other unsupported audio format) is transcoded into AAC then rewinding movies is a nightmare - it freezes the playback and become unstable,
  3. Problems with dissapearing subtitles (SRT) during playback (I need to step back by 10s to solve this problem).

Providing any response will be very appreciated.

For getting support, it is best to keep 1 thread, even if you need to ping it yourself. Spreading out your same issues across multiple threads doesn’t help.
