Yes, I plan that the casting will be added in next month.
In next version will be added a small feature for the PIN input (@kopfpilot asked about something in Amazonās style earlier here)
There will be added a new button
if you click the button you will change the pin input mode to a mode where you can input the pin with D-PAD buttons only without highlighting them on a TV screen.
Thus you will be able to protect your PIN, as example, from kids who can read.

You know Iāve just read again about this feature and I think now that a mi box should analyze the video output and adjust the screen frame rate depends on the content rate.
Iāve written to the Xiaomiās support about getting details of this feature. Hope they will answer soon.

This app is alternative to plex android without paid. So still one does need pass for transcoding ? Am i right.
You donāt need a Plex pass to use this app.
Just set up a play mode option in settings
Is it possible that you confuse players with the plex media server? (Software) transcoding in PMS was always free - hardware accelerated transcoding on the other hand requires a Plex Pass.
The official plex android player is only free of charge for Plex Pass owner - everyone else have to pay to bypass the 60 second limit. Yes, this is an alternative player. I prefer it over the original one, as XPlay tends to have less micro stuttering on some videos compared to the official player.
Its not for just plex pass owner also 14 home userās dont need . which is great value for money.
Everyone has a different user profile. I for once wouldnāt like having to scroll thru the home user list to pick the right user. Also I would not like to be bothered to link players for others or god forbid to be asked to share my credentials with them. Though, I am glad that it works out for you!
its always puts the owner first. 2nd its not your account they need to access. Since you can create account without plex account for home userās whom can connect inside your network. for others roaming need remote access which requires account to be registered.
Neither way need your account access stay with you. All accounts will be pin protected. So no one have your account access and vice-versa. Also you dont need to manage their account until if they miss pin simply delete and re-add. Also you wont have access to their account . Just add/invite and forget . Except the shares needs to be added as per you wanted to share .

it happens that with mkv, when I have two audio tracks and two subtitles, by selecting one of the audio tracks I canāt disable the subtitles, while with the official plex app I donāt have this problem.
