Tested the same file with xplay and official plex app and viewed the activity status on the plex server.

Hello. Iā€™ve been using XPLAY since February 2017 and it worked very wellā€¦ thanks for the job. But on october 19 (2018) I updated xplay on my lg tv and now when I pause the movie I canā€™t restart from that point. It always starts several minutes before.

Also, when I have a tv serie with more than 10 or 11 episodes, I canā€™t scroll to the end.

Today (December 3) Iā€™ve updated the apk but it works worse :frowning: when I click on a mvie, it worksā€¦but if I click on a TV serie with several seasons, it doesnā€™t show the episodes. Only grey screen and this symbol on the upper left corner: ā€œā€“>ā€;

I know you work hard and I like it. But I think I prefer the older version. Itā€™s possible to return to that version? before octoberā€¦ I donā€™t know if itā€™s possible on LG smart tv

Hello, Iā€™ve just updated to the latest version on my LG TV 55SK9500PLA and I canā€™t see any difference.

It has the same bugs as before, including when you change the quality on the main posters and save,
it defaults back to the original % this only happens when tuning tv off and then back on so nothing saves and still no auto login.

Very frustrating, as it looked very promising until it got messed up in October.

Keep up the good work @bublikoff love your app, letā€™s hope it gets sorted soon.

Yes, sorry Iā€™ve also just downloaded the demo before buying and installed xplay on my Nvidia shield tv and again the posters and disable theme sounds donā€™t save.

The layout is the same as WebOS which isnā€™t liked much as the version before October 2018.

The left hand side big poster is much to big, also when you scroll movies it stops after so many and when you want to go further you have to select from the alphabet from the bottom which to me doesnā€™t make sense.

I would only use the alphabet to search named movies or tv shows.

Also Iā€™ve only just noticed that the demo doesnā€™t play 4K content!!
Does it need to be purchased first? the hdr and Atmos doesnā€™t come up at the top right of the screen like plex does.

Iā€™ve purchased xplay on WebOS which has a few problem at the moment, and as I have the Nvidia shield, I will purchase the android version if it will play my 4K movies.

No. the demo is a full version with a trial period (itā€™s not the latest at the moment)

doesnā€™t it play totally or play without sound or play only in transcoding mode?

Iā€™ve seen only that direct play doesnā€™t work correctly with dolby atmos videos. I will fix this moment

Next updates Iā€™m going to publish on Google Play. I guess it will be easier for me to work with updates.

DironDir is responsible for the Android App, not the LG WebOS App.

It plays 4K content with sound, but it doesnā€™t trigger hdr and Truehd with Atmos.

Just checked and itā€™s transcoding both video and audio.
4K HEVC - H264 and TRUEHD - ACC.

Iā€™m starting to like this app more and more, one thing I noticed today and Iā€™m sure itā€™s been covered.

  1. When playing tv show, it doesnā€™t run inline with plex. So if I open plex the tv show hasnā€™t changed even know I watched a couple on xplay.

  2. The next episode plays the same one. (repeats)

  3. Also on the home screen when I was watching smallville s06e15 when you click to play it plays the beginning of season 6 even has shows the name of season 6 ep15

  4. No tv theme sounds, even with tick off in settings.
