all is working fine on my lg webos 2 just for 1 thing since the rol back i can choose subs but nothing happens it starts to reload the mediafile but there are no subs ,i go in the menu for subs again and its still on none instead of subs.

Install Emby and be done with Plex and Xplay. The LG app is good, plays 4k, and is very lite weight
So how long will this developer continue trying to fix the various issues in this new version of Xplay while continuing to frustrate a large segment of the community who paid for this app? Are we looking at 1 more month, 3 more, 6 more, longer? At this point there is no excuse for not rolling back to the last working version and continuing to work on this beta upgrade until itās ready. As a developer myself, itās easy to see that this upgrade is definitely beta quality. Furthermore, I couldnāt care less about the multiple tweets regarding issues with LG and the testing/publication of the app. Any upgrades should be properly vetted before getting pushed out. Complaining about issues with LG while so many users are running into issues smacks of unprofessionalism.

Make sure it hasnāt switched to https for the connection. The tv isnāt capable of using high bit rate in https as hardware acceleration for that doesnāt seems to be in the processor. Iāve asked LG support about it. And not resolvable by a firmware update

I have an issue with my XPlay app.
The issue is that I canāt select any subtitle or i can select one but it does not work and if i back into settings it has selected none again.
Anybody else with this issue?

Your App is broken again, when i start it it just spins. I am so done with this ā ā ā ā ā ā app and moving to Emby. So many damn headaches with this ā ā ā ā ā ā crap.
Iāve paid for XPlay and now the app is no longer loading, it just shows a circle spinning. Whyās that? I have WebOs 3.8.0.
Same for me. Yesterday was working normal.
Today the app stopped working. It just spins on the starting screen.
Oh well, the updates made it worse anyway.
I found that when the infinite spinning happens, I need to close the app using the Home (House) button and by navigating to the top left corner where an X will appear.
After that, if you start XPlay again it will connect successfully and work as it should.
By the way, Iām also installing Emby and switching to it on a trial basis.
The previous version of XPlay is what most users want, I believe. Until that happens, itās just not worth dealing with these kinds of errors.
Can someone who switched from Plex to Emby tell me if the Emby App on LG WebOS (1.x) faces with the SAME limitations than Plex - for example that only the first audiotrack can be directly streamed and everything else must be transcoded? I suppose since all the WebOS Apps only use the videoplayer functions provided by WebOS they are run into the same problems?

I am having the same issue that multiple users are reporting today, infinite spinning loading circle.
As others have stated, this has happened today, I had no issues using xplay yesterday.
Also, this does not work for me.
Iāve also tried hard resetting the TV and leaving unplugged for a short time
I talked too fast. Closed the app, tried the method again and it didnāt work. Again, infinite spinning circle
