I do not post all updates here but Yatse is monthly updated :slight_smile:

Yatse 8.1.6 is published

  • Changed: Applied new better internals to Addons / PVR and Files part of the application.
  • Added: Plex and Emby wizards now properly auto detect HTTPS mode and no longer require advanced settings edition.
  • Added: Sort by track number for Music Videos.
  • Fixed: Editing Custom Commands.
  • Fixed: Some issues with action bar title sometimes showing up when it should not.
  • Fixed: Artist name missing in now playing playlist.
  • Fixed: Remapped button left / right of volume auto repeat being activated.
  • Fixed: Workaround for one more JSON Kodi bug: Returning random strings for now playing items durations from RSS (Trac:17753 if anyone care at Kodi team ;)).
  • Fixed: Some reported issues and tons of optimizations.

If it’s a typo then no folder browsing seems to not be possible with currently available Plex API.

Plex Cloud was opened for a very short time before being shut down :wink:

If you can provide an account to that server in the issue on the Yatse tracker I’ll see what I can find out about it’s API.

A very much appreciated addition as this brings gapless playback!
Question; Is there any explanation why fast forward (skipping through an audio track) would not work? I can’t seem to get this working.

Without logs How to get debug information and open a proper issue it’s hard to tell :slight_smile:

Could be because there’s transcoding that encode to a format that does not properly manage seek.

Many thanks for the ultra quick response. Yes!! I noticed transcoding was on for cellular data. Switching to original did the trick. Very very happy!

I did ask you for an account on your plex cloud server you never answered.

As I said Plex cloud no more exists I have no way to test to see how it works, Plex does not really publish it’s API as I’m not sure they love other apps to the same things as the one who needs subscriptions.

Just saw Plex 7.0 and user reactions :slight_smile:

Maybe more users should try Yatse with Plex support :wink: As a 100% user driven developed software if things are missing just open feature requests :slight_smile:

Started new beta of Yatse that support direct Plex.tv login for easier server discovery and reconnect.

Could maybe helps with your Plex cloud, can’t do more since well you don’t participate :wink:

I can stream all media using cellular data, but can only download some content not all. it says HTTP error 400 - Bad Request. Any solution for this? On latest Plex server and Yatse 8.4.1 using a DNS to connect remotely

Thanks for sorting that problem out on our email chat. Would it possible to set a limit to the download speed of the syncing downloads? The problem is that it is TOO QUICK. It maxes out at 13MBps but then I can’t do anything streaming/internet related while it syncs on my network

Seems that email notification were not correctly migrated :frowning:

For the moment there’s no way to limit speed since users asked for max speed sync :slight_smile:

Will see to add that to the TODO list but at very very very low priority sorry :frowning:
