I love your app and bought it twice for 2 of my Google account . Please improve search for plex to support artist and actor names.
On movie and TV episode detail page please include actor names that you can pull from tvdb and tmdb and so that we can click those to see all movie and TV shows by that actor
Please open feature request on the web site.
The problem is that Plex API does not allow to get that data during bulk sync and require 1 call per item and it’s very slow and inefficient

Some major libraries are moving toward Android 5+ only, so your information are important to delay (or not) the same requirement in Yatse.
- As requested by some users, you can now donate via subscriptions. Gives access to a private section on Yatse forum.
- Settings, hosts and everything that could be saved to Cloud Save can now be exported to password encrypted files for easy backup / restore (Require unlocker)
- Clicking on the backup file in file explorer, or any cloud provider will directly propose to restore it’s content.
- Menu entries to add now playing, and now playing playlist items to Yatse favorites.
- Menu entry to see PVR recording information.
- Ratings are now visible in grid view for movies/shows/episodes.
- Removed translations that are less than 50% complete. Translations are crowd sourced, please join translation site to help finish them.

I downloaded Yatse on my Android then purchased the Unlocker to be able to fully use it, but I can not get it to log into my Plex server. I login to Plex.TV using my Google account. No matter how I’ve tried to format it in Yatse it says wrong username or password. Can you please tell me how to get logged in so I can use the app?

Asking the exact same question here will lead to the exact same answer 
At least you give one more clue that you are using a Google login and not normal login, so issue can be tied to that.
Add a Plex Password to a Google or Facebook Account
If you first started using Plex with your Google or Facebook account, you don’t have a Plex password. You can add a regular password to your account at any time. This allows signing in to the Plex account without Google or Facebook, using the account email address and password.
- Sign in to the Plex web app.
- Visit your Plex account page.
- In the Password section, you should see Not set , showing that you do not have a password yet.
- On the Accounts tab, click the Edit link the Password section.
- Enter your new account password (be sure to choose a strong, unique one!) and then confirm it.
- Click the Save Changes button.
You can now sign in to your account using a password by choosing Continue with Email on any Plex login page.

Would love to have playlists implemented i don’t know if that’s a feature bieng worked on but I can cross my fingers
It’s high on the TODO now that Kodi 18 is out.
But be aware that there’s an high chance that that editing Plex playlist from Yatse will not be present in first iteration. (But probably import them on Yatse then edit them on Yatse).
Limitation caused by Kodi limited API.
Press the like button at that feature And do not hesitate to make others.

Yatse 9.0.0 released
Important: Yatse is now an Android 5+ application, allowing simpler maintenance, with faster and smaller app.
Previous version will stay on Play Store so that users of Android 4.x can still reinstall without issues.
This release is a major one to fully embrace Android 5+, unfortunately it is possible that some manufacturers had bug on some old Android 5.x devices, please report any issues to support with details on your device.

On a shield TV is Yatse supposed to control Plex and start films through the app or just read my Plex info and then cast it through the built in chrome cast feature? I can only seam to get it to work this way but then I only get standard 2.0 audio.
For the moment it does not control clients directly as there was no ask for that.
It’s on the todo list after playlists support that should come not so far away.
You can enable AC3 / EAC3 support when casting to Chromecast in the settings (General / Advanced).
Please open feature requests on https://community.yatse.tv/ so I can priorize Plex more as interest is growing, many details are missing due to lack of support in Kodi and Kodi being the smallest denominator.
The more people asks the more Plex support will be extended faster.
