Yatse 9.4.0 is released.
Bring seamless transcoding to Kodi , thanks to a partnership with BubbleUPnP developer, Yatse is now allowed to use BubbleUPnP Server for transcoding as long as you have a valid BubbleUPnP and Yatse licenses. (See Streaming settings)

First run/wizard is no more tied to Kodi, greatly simplifying experience for non Kodi users.

I can never get yatse to work outside of network…it’ll play a couple songs and then freeze or completely stop playing and much more problems…are there settings I’m missing cause I really like the ui but I’m at a loss on how to configure it to be my go to player
Hi, I have started using Yatse with Android Auto, while Plex client does not work as expected.
I have noticed two small “issues” so far, wondering if there is a workaround /fix (maybe i am missing something) :
“Recently played” does not show anything…
In most cases posters are not displayed during playback in AA
Any advice appreciated
EDIT: pt. 2 fixed, i have downloaded all thumbnails to offline cache using Library settings >Expert >Manage cache
This seems to resolve the problem
But recently played doesn’t seem to work even outside of AA…

Added: Support export/import of Yatse favourites and playlists to backup files/cloud save. (Those are tied to hosts so export/imports hosts at the same time)

This is not yet supported as no one asked for it until now
I’ve looked previously how to do that and it’s not that complicated see Feature Requests - Yatse community to open a feature request so I do not forget.
Just a side note Yatse works differently than Plex so the way it will be will be that the home user is selected at connection, if you need to change the user often you create another connection and switch the whole connection.
Does not change a thing in usage but it will be a little different.
