I’m trying to add 2 shows different shows with similar names:
- Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures
- Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures: Go Team Roberts
folder (1) has 3 seasons,
and folder (2) has 2 seasons.
No matter what I do, even rescan folder, only the first one is shown here:
While other do not.
Folder names:
Keeps refreshing, I can it scan the folder, but not working.
Can only able to list it if I change filter to “folders”, not showing on TV shows.
Inside all episodes are marked with XXXXX.S##E## XXXXX name scheme.
I’m pretty sure its got to do with fact the other show is with similar name, and somehow this likely matched existing show so it skips it.
How can I resolve this ?
I’ve tried renaming the second folder to “Barbie Go Team Roberts”,
Hoping this will aid somehow, but without any luck…

On the show you should be able to split it apart, and then find the miss-matched result, and then fix match it
Correction, it’s worse, it’s adding them into same show.
Season 1 & two are taken from second show, and season 3 is taken from 2nd show.
I can’t see the missing files listed…
When I do “Get Info” on the “episode 1” of the season1, this is what I get:

Both TheTVDB and The Movie Database have “Go Team Roberts” listed as seasons 4 and 5 of Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures.

That may not be how you’d like to organize it, but it’s how the online databases from which Plex sources its series information do.
As @dbirch suggests you could split the series at the show-level, but then you’ll have to manually enter metadata information for Go Team Roberts.
