"You have reached the 15 person Home limit" - I have 14 users ATM

Hi, I share with my extended family, I want to add someone, they already have their plex account setup.

I have 14 users in my Home, including the admin user (mine).
Guest account is not enabled.

When I try to add the 15th user, Plex is giving me an error saying I reached the limit of users in my Home…

I already tried restarting the server.

What am I missing?

Thanks.

EDIT: Forgot to add I had a user that recently deleted his account. It automagically dissapeared of my Home users list without requiring for me to remove it. Could it be this account is not completely deleted and still somehow attached to my Plex Home?

Correct. It is in a “soft-deleted” state for 30 days. You should be able to add a new user after that period.

Alternatively, think about if you actually need to add all users into your Plex Home.
Plex Home is only intended for users with whom you are living under the same roof.
You can share your media just fine with users who are not members of your Plex Home. And the number of these users can be higher than 15.

It’s kinda unsettling that deleting your account does not actually delete it…

False, you cannot share Live TV source… I want to share Live TV content with this user.

Isn’t there any way we could fast track the removal of this “deleted” (not so much deleted it would seem) account from my list of Home users?

This is for people who delete their accounts by accident. They’ll have a month to restore it, without losing any shares, settings, or potentially a Plex Pass.

I can restore the account, (or better, let the user do it. There should be an email in his/her inbox with a link which allows it.)
then you can oust it from your Plex Home,
then the user needs to delete it again.

Thank you. Got it working.
