When clicking download icon, animation happens, but nothing afterwards. Logs look to be showing an error 500 for a failed fetch request to 127.0.0.1:32500.
Did you give the app permissions to storage?
Yes, confirmed it has storage permission. Sync used to work (as well as Sync could work).
Can you try again and provide the entire log?

I did a full app re-install and it appears to be working now. Log after reinstall attached.
I don’t need the log if it’s working. 
Did you possibly upgrade from an older version of the app? I helped another user with a similar issue and they had upgraded from an old version and a reinstall also helped them.
I had originally installed the Plex app on the device back in 2017, upgrading along the way.
