Will need to get logs for unwatched filter requests through Medialink. There may be some differences between it and Smartshare like what we found when the originalno filesissue was identified.May be @R-P-H can help us again by getting server logs when unwatched filter is being used on Media Link?
I reproduced the problem, it also happens with DLNA Client (I used VLC on my Android phone connecting to DLNA Plex Server to test).
There you go.
Clean install of 1.2.2
Named server TestServer
Enabled verbose logging
Added 192.168.1.0/24 in Networks that are allowed without auth
Added a library called “TestLibrary” with one directory “/mnt/Midia/Series/Westworld” which has 2 episodes
Marked episode 1 as watched (on Plex Web using Chrome)
Checked on Nexus 5x (Plex Android) and episode 1 is watched. Episode 2 unwatched.
Fired up VLC (same Nexus 5X) to access Plex DLNA Server, but nothing showed on “Video”.
Tried to add network 192.168.1.0/24 on LAN Networks too.
Fired up VLC again, nothing.
Stopped plexmediaserver and restarted it.
Fired up VLC again, this time it showed the library I created named TestLibrary
Navigated to Video > TestLibrary > Unwatched > Westworld
Result: Both videos (eps 1 and 2) show as unwatched, even though Plex Web shows ep. 1 as watched since I marked it as watched.
Stopped plexmediaserver and restart it.
Started MediaLink on my 2012 LG TV (non WebOs)
Chose TestLibrary, then applied the Unwatched filter, nagivated to Westworld.
Result: Same, both videos (ep 1 and2) show as unwatched, even though ep. 1 is marked as watched.
Logs attached.
