When you all hit problems with your PS4 not seeing your Media Server will you please try this?
- Sign into plex.tv in a web browser
- Make sure your web browser is on the same network as the PS4
- Open this URL: https://plex.tv/api/resources
- Do you see your server in there in one of the Device nodes?
We use this information to locate your media server.
- If you don’t see your server here then you must sign in.
- If you do see your server there but it has the wrong IP please restart it and check the response again.
- If you did not see your server OR your server had the wrong IP and it was still missing or wrong after restarting your server please attach your server’s logs from startup.
- If you see your server there AND it has the right IP AND you still cannot connect make sure you’re not requiring Secure Connections
- If all else fails please reinstall the Plex app. Still broken?
