Hello All,
Its been about 2 weeks or so since my plex app stopped working on my PS4.
-PS4 is 2.55 Plex Server is 2.49
-Works if I use PS Media Player to Plex Server
-Plex App on ipad,iphone,xbox 1 and roku works.
Is anyone having the same issues ?
Hi crypticsec are you still experiencing problems? It sounds like you’re server is signed in and should be accessible to the PS4.
Consider signing out of the PS4 using the Sign Out link in the No Media Server found error. At signout we clear any stored server connection information. I’m at a little of a loss why it’s not working and hoping a fresh PIN login may help.

I’ve done several pin resets and i see on the plex server the PS4 signing in but I still get “No Media Server Found”.
Having same issue. Other shared libraries are visible, but mine is “not reachable”
Any updates on this. Mine is having the same issue and it seems to choose on its own when it wants to work. Some days it will connect fine and play whatever I want it too but other days like today just wont work.
I’m having the same issue. Checked for any issues with router. Set up using pin and it connects but still says no media servers found.
same issue here, have to close the app and then load it again, if the images do not load it will give the error once again, if they do then it seems to work, seems like it’s timing out or something.
Try go to Server Settings -> Network -> Secure Connections and change it to Prefered. This solved this problem for me. It looks like Plex app for PS4 cannot handle secure connection to plex server.

Thing is, I have had it set to that all this time and I still get the issue.
what’s going on can not get my ps4 too work with the Plex app for PS4 and when I go on my pc also I can not look at and of the stuff from the channels and ect, and I paid for a pass lol! please can you help me asap please and ty

Same thing for me, Plex stopped working on my 2 pS4’s at the same time, 2 weeks ago.
Stuck on “No Server found”…
It could be a Playstation update or something like this…
I have one server with Synology and one with Windows… Both are okay with iOS, or any device but are not recognised by the PLEX on the PS4’s.
It works with the Sony media player of the PS4.
I think it has to do with update 2.55 on the ps4, change the server to another secure connection has already been changed.

Nope. Tried everything still stuck!!
I have mine set to disabled and I still see the issues.
@crypticsec mine was at disable before and I put it at Prefered and it worked

I tried setting it back to preferred, and still cant connect.
Are you via WiFi? Try to connect your PS4 to your routeur with a cable…
I had issues before with my routeur, it blocked Plex

Yes i am using wifi but my plex sever is on the same subnet as my ps4. None of my other devices are having issues and they are using wifi. I can also use the ps4 media player to connect to the plex sever. The only thing that changed that i noticed was when I updated to 2.55 on the ps4.
