Yes a 10 second timeout was introduced in 1.14.0 - this came to light when I looked at logs provided here DVR & Live TV Completely broken in 1.13.8.5395 with WinTV dualHD and probably others
Please add your logs for tuning errors so we can confirm it is the same issue
