Just wanted to get this out there, in case it saves someone some time.
Upgrading firmware to 6.10.0 does not fix the stop/uninstall issue
PMS 1.15.4.993 does not fix the stop/uninstall issue
1.14.x continues to work as expected. So far, I’m not aware of any official comment on this issue.
Plex techs don’t seem to have done much testing of PMS 1.15.x on Netgear NAS. PMS 1.14.1.5488 is still the only version that everything works.
How about V1.15.6.1079? How about some official PLEX support on the issue? I’m about to switch to Emby!
Do yourself a favour and go back to 1.14.1.5488. It’s the last version that works as it should on the ReadyNAS
That’s where I am and I’m not updating until someone says it works. I was wondering if I could just copy the folder it’s in on the NAS, then update, then when it fails, uninstall it, put 1.14 back and then copy the backup back to the NAS…
