Oh ok, I didn’t see the regular release had come out
You might have to upload your logs if you’re sure you’re having the same problem everybody else was here

I downloaded the logs but it’s a ton of files - which one would be needed to help this?
Also I changed my library scanner to “Plex Series Scanner” and the TV show that was missing did show up in the next scan. However if I try to change the scanner back to “Plex TV Series” I get a message saying “Your changes could not be saved” as soon as I hit the “Save Changes” button.
Usually, they would ask for the whole zip file. I don’t really read logs so I can’t be specific about where they would want to look
If you don’t get anyone to help you, I would consider starting a new thread. After something has been solved I’m not sure if anyone is actually getting a alert to look here anymore
They might, I just don’t know
I had this problem aswell after troubleshooting, fix was for me to set:
Scanner= Plex TV Series
TV agent= The Movie Database
Press Save
Then i could save with below settings
Scanner= Plex TV Series
TV agent= Plex TV Series
Does Plex Media Server 1.32.2.7100 fix the issue or still only the bets version?
1.32.2.7100 fixes the issue.
From the release notes:
I see so only a windows fix I’m guessing as I’ve upgraded my docker image but I still have to copy the files out and back of the source location for plex to notice a new movie has been added.
Note I have removed and added back my source location and tried a full scan which didn’t pick anything new up
While your symptoms seem identical, you most likely have a completely different issue if your server isn’t on a Windows machine
I would start your own thread and tag it with your OS with as many details as you can
Try to add a new file, scan your library and then post your server logs also
I can confirm, it a problem with file names. i install sonarr and rename files. all series was deleted. then i change filename format and it’s works now.
We did make some changes relating to Sonar episode number naming - they did cause problems elsewhere and we reversed / tweaked some of the changes. I believe Sonar agreed to make changes to how they name episode ranges
Could you give me examples for what they were named and what you changed them to
Either way, it is not related to the boost issue on Windows that is what this forum thread is about
helo… it’s stop to detect, when you use this naming for series
Title [S01E01] (2023) 1080P.mkv… then I change it to Title.s01.e01.2023.1080p.mkw and its start to work. Even in both ways I see that the file is detected by plex, but only add to library in case Nr2.
Looks like it’s does not like S01E01 is not split… but this is my assumption

Anything contained inside square brackets gets ignored by the scanner. This is used for optional information like [1080p]
[s01e01] ← This means Plex can’t see the most important part of the file for matching

As @JaysPlex said anything in square brackets is ignored for scanning
Is this filename template using the square brackets preset by Sonar ? Can you give me any more info you have on product / versions
