After solving the problem of plexdata share when I update the series libraries some of them have disappeared and many chapters that are still stored. But on the scan you don’t see them. If I rename the folder I still don’t see them. What I can do. It happens to me since I have updated to this version.

I am having the exact same issue…the latest update has problems we need another update to correct the problem

Same here. “Upgrade matching” doesnt work and the library does not find recently added episodes.

not only does it not find new ones, but seasons and episodes of many series have disappeared.

Need log files please to see if there’s anything obvious showing up.
Common problems on QNAP:
- Use of Multimedia share – changes pathnames when Multimedia Console app is upgraded (it’s a software API)
- Codex Pack – changes pathnames when upgraded (also a software API)

Please turn Verbose logging OFF
It’s off by default.
DEBUG logging is all we need in 99.9% of the cases.
After turning it off,
Restart Plex
Scan the files again.
When done,
Download the logs and attach the ZIP one more time.

I ask this because every mouse action or data packet causes log entries like this which cause the buffer (only 50 MB) to overflow and the data to be lost.

I have been with plex for many years and have never had a similar problem.
I agree something is wrong but do not see the problem.
I do not see any obvious errors.
Perhaps the best / first question is: Are all the media shares available ?
Are any QTS errors being reported?

And as I see it, you are NOT following the naming standard, as I linked towards!
You have a library root path defined as /share/CACHEDEV3_DATA/Cine5/Series Animadas
So below that, you should have a directory named The Boss Baby Back in Business (2017)
Below that again, you should have a directory named Season 01
And in that directory, the media files for season 01, like:
Scooter Buskie -S01E01- .avi
Super Cool Big Kids Inc. -S02E02- .avi
Notice in above the Season 01 folder, as well as the individual episodes has SxxEyy in their naming!
Edit: And adding, that your files has something like [Cap 208] in it, and assume that means S02E08 ?
Also note, that text in square brackets [] is ignored by the scanners and agents!

Before this version it did not scan only the directories in brackets but the chapters that were there. It has always worked. I had them scanned and they have disappeared with this update. It is so safe.
