Hello everyone,

I am having trouble with 1 show not showing up in PLEX. The war between the land and the sea just wont show up.

I run my plex server via docker on an Unraid server.

TV Shows are managed by Sonarr via its own docker container

This is the only show i am having trouble with.
I have already tried removing the folder, scanning and then re-adding. I have tried the “PLEX Dance” but that did not help either.

Do i attach the zip file containing all server logs or do i need to up upload a specific file out of the zip?

Any help would be great.

Make certain Sonarr is setting permissions so the files can be read by the Plex UID/GID (in the container)

I made a test file series and metadata is available

Could you give me an example so i know what i am looking for.

I followed a very comprehensive guide when i set up sonarr so im not well versed in the setup.

Also its only this show that has an issue so i doubt its a settings issue but i am very thankful for your help, and im more than happy to check if you can help me find the settings your talking about.

The Sonarr settings

If you have the settings already, go into the file system and confirm,
– Directories = 755
– Files = 644

By default, SMB (Windows / MacOS) will set permissions such that only you see the media

Ok cheers. ill check that now.

I took these screen shots, does this help answer your question?

I added another tv series to test if PLEX will see any new changes and the new show I added isnt seen by plex either!

Its very strange. Im wondering if I should do a reset of plex?

Have you tried Enable Inheritance so permissions propagate into subdirs and files?

( You’ll want to check the "replace all child object permission… " )

I got the issue sorted mate.

The database was damaged. There was about 5 tv series and a dozen movies not showing up.

I used your tool to repair it but I did have some trouble actually running the file.
I used tutorials to set up my server and my linux/unix experience is very limited. But i did find a video tutorial on how to do it.

Located here.

Perhaps maybe you could link to it too on your GitHub page? For us command line n00bs, as you cant be expected to give detailed instructions on every install combination but this video helped me massively.

FWIW this video helped me fix my issue! I did use the auto option to repair but i still had to manually choose to repair the DB and it worked as intended.

@ChuckPa I found your tool via the HOTIO discord. As i used the HOTIO docker container with unraid i thought i would start there for help when i couldnt figure it out.
