2026.7 “Continue Watching” always wrong

The “continue watching” points to a “watched” episode (season 2, ep 3).

When I select it, you can see the “watched” tick is there but it claims 43 minutes remain.

I then mark it as unwatched, then watched and it correctly shows season 3, ep 1 in “continue watching”..

I select that episode and it starts season 2, episode 3 anyway (the episode it incorrectly thought was next up to begin with.

Continue watching now shows the incorrect episode again (season 2, ep 3).

This is not a problem on the ‘old’ app.

As a test, don’t mark it as watched. Instead resume the episode and fast forward it to the end. It might help.

Thanks for that. I fixed it in the moment using the old app, but thought I’d report the problem here.

I guess it just took the in-progress information with higher priority. That seems to make sense to me.
