I’m running a small server on my home pc and i have an issue with continue watching feature. For TV shows only i think, it doesn’t show the correct episode where i left off. Issue is the same if i watch from my phone, an other computer, home computer where the server is located, if i try to connect to plex from the site or with a direct ip, it gets stuck. I put a picture, and to mention that im actually on season 6 for a few days now.
Both continue watching and OnDeck display the same episode.
Did you at one time stop watching s05e03? It will keep track of that aswell.
Well, usually i have the tendency to close the browser directly when going to sleep in the middle of the episode. I tried to use the X as someone suggested, but it still shows messed up. Plus, this doesn’t seem to be an issue with movies, i can watch them from where i left them without issues on any other device later on.
But you are saying if i watched an episoded, just closed the browser and the next day i manually selected the next episode it will get stuck at the previous one, like for ever?
That still doesn’t explay why continue episode shows S5 but on the bottom, where usually it shows the last episode you watch to continue, shows one from season 4, thats even weirder.
The player at the bopttom is still in ‘paused’ state, in the middle of this episode.
This is a direct consequence of you closing the browser without stopping playback first.
As for the other episode in Continue Watching: try to mark it ‘played’ manually.
Does this clear the episode from CW?
Yes, it cleared it and it shows now correctly, will try to see if it gets stuck again.
But i dont understand how the player at the bottom still shows an episode from s4, i was at s6. I closed that one as well. It works very weird to be honest. But i guess its good to know this small things.
