Hello all, fairly new to Plex, but I’ve been getting my server up and going for the past few days. I have gotten to the point of having all of my movie files copied over to my server and looking at the library it’s showing 783 movies, but when I click on folders it’s showing 786. Is there an easy way to tell which 3 Plex is unhappy without having to go one by one and comparing the folder view with the library view?
If you don’t have any Collections your file manager is counting items Plex isn’t seeing. <—like if you have anything THAT IS NOT media (like sub files not in a folder) - or something like that.
I’m not sure. Just running through my folders real quick, I did find 2 movies with “sub” folders. Deleted them, rescanned my library and the count is still off. I’ll have to do a deeper look through of all the folders tomorrow and see if there is something extra in any of them.
I will be trying this out today. I went through all of my folders, found a few that had srt files or thumbs files, deleted them, rescanned the library and still no change. No sub folders in anything either. I just have a feeling there are 2 movies in there that it’s unable to match and trying to sort through that manually is no fun.
