If you’re still taking Beta users, I’d love to give this a try. I tried the link in your post on Feb 8, however this link doesn’t allow me to install, even when opening via the phone I have paired with the watch.

I ordered a galaxy active watch that should arrive to my house in 2-3 weeks! Can I please join the beta for this? I use plex to stream all my music. Also I work at a warehouse and if I could save music to my watch inside plex and walk around with a earbud in for music but not have to carry my phone that would be awesome. We have wifi in our building too but im not sure if my watch will connect to it.

There has been a bit of interest in this lately, so I thought I should give a quick update.
When I originally posted the beta there was a fair amount of interest, and I made sure I contacted each of them with the details they would need to get onboarded. However, I only got feedback from maybe 2 or 3 participants and since Samsung’s distribution platform doesn’t give details about beta uptake it was hard to tell whether it was being downloaded. With the lack of participant response and low visibility, I kind of felt like I was wasting my time, which ultimately led to me terminating the beta. It has since taken a backseat to other projects over the last year or so, and I haven’t been able to dedicate any significant amount of time to it.
It is a little unclear as to the future of this project aswell. I will try to pick it up in the future, but for the time being, paid projects will take priority.
That’s not the end of it though… I will re-enable the beta and make a post here to confirm the details. Everyone who was on it previously, and those who have since expressed interest here will be added, and you will be free to use it as you wish. If there is a surge in interest after that, then maybe I will push to get it to a shippable state, and push it through the Samsung UAT team to get it on the market place.

Add me to the list of interested. I would definitely pay for an app like this and price would not be a factor. Currently have to export my Plex playlist, run a PowerShell script to get actual song files and import into Samsung Music so I can sync with watch and go running without my phone. Biggest issue or constraint with that is limited space on the watch.
