Ugg so early this year I had issue where every 4k HDR video would buffer after exactly 3 mins, their was some fixes and a fix MS pushed on the Xbox and things got somewhat better.
If a 4k HDR file used AC3 5.1 as audio It would play pretty smoothly.
Now for about the last month ro so even that no longer works, Even though it will direct play 4kHDR and AC3 5.1 i’ll get buffering after the first 20 mins, exit out and start at the point of buffering and it will skip and buffer like a mess.
This is REALLY getting annoying, going to have to just play my UHD discs as this has been a complete nightmare for almost 2 years now.
Can we PLEASE get 4k HDR fixed so it can legit play for an entire movie without buffering or frame skips etc?
I can play the same files in original quality through plex on my Samsung Tab that support 4k hdr and walk around the house with it still playing perfectly.
If a tablet can play it perfectly walking around why does the Xbox version of Plex has so many issues with buffering?
