$5 one time fee or Plex Pass?

I have a family of four and each person has an iPhone or iPad. I want to be able to watch movies and stream music from my PMS on these devices. I do not need movie trailers, DVR, photo support or any off the other features available with PP. I might use the offline viewing feature but very very rarely.

My question is this: Is the $5 (per device) one time fee sufficient for my needs if all I need is movie and music playback on mobile devices?

It is $5 per app store account, actually. Which means if some of your family members are sharing their app store accounts, you only need to buy the app once for them.
So I think you are better off just buying the apps.
