720p Zoom Crash

I have all my media in 720p x265 mkv and have them set to zoom, when the episode finishes and it tried to autoplay the next episode it either zooms in way too far or fails to load crashing plex and causing the chromecast to reboot. Any suggestions?

Just to further add this only occurs on the Chromecast w/ Google TV. No issues with the windows client or issues on my parents FireTV 4K

There are tons of folks having this issue (especially where paired with pre-roll). Thought I simply had a Chromecast until I was able to perfectly repeat the behavior on a spare I had (pending install).
