My problem is all my episodes show up correctly in Plex but if I play a title, the episode disappears from Plex but not from my library. I should mention that movies do not disappear. Only tv show episodes.
Delete after scan is off. Help please.
Hey guys, i sincerely apologize for reviving this topic, but Iām having a problem with 1 series where episode 10 is not detecting and Iāve been pulling my bloody hair out trying to get it detecting.
The series is Lost in space (2018), Season 01, Episode 10 - All other episode detect absolutely fine and they all have the same naming format
āSeriesā>āSeason xxā>āSeriesname - SxxExx - EpName [Quality].extā
(Lost in space (2018)>Season 01>Lost in Space (2018) - S01E10 - Danger, Will Robinson [2160p].mkv
The only difference i can see in the other episodes detecting is that there is a comer in the episode name (which i have tried renaming without with no difference)
Any help here would be appreciated.

That looks fine to me, but you should be aware that TVDB is almost dead at the moment. Itās been that way for hours/days. Donāt sweat it for a while and try again later.
ALWAYS simply omit characters you canāt put in file names - NEVER try to replace with something else. The Coma will work, so use it. Your file name is fine - TVDB isnāt.
If you want a natural match (and who wouldnāt?) pull the file, check TVDB for life, if you find any, put the file back in. You can also āRefresh Metadataā (or Plex Dance) later if you just want to watch it.
Note: I did just add two new episodes for two different shows and they got all the stuff without issue. You may have an issue as yet undetermined.
Thanks for that, but even if TVDB is down, I would have imagined the file would have at least populated in plex without any metadata, which it hasnāt.
Also, I did push that newly downloaded series into the folder at the same time, so it didnāt feel like a TVDB issue, Iāll sit on it for a bit and see if it works itself out in the mean time 
It does seem a bit odd.
Enable Debug Logging: Settings/General
Prepare to download logs and post them when asked: Settings/Troubleshooting
Do this so we can generate some fresh āDebugā logs:
Plex Dance The Show (only one season so letās start over), half the season at a time and see what happens (your watched state will not be affected):
Pull the Show - scan - empty trash - clean bundles.
Put half the season back - do the last half first - for grinsā¦lol
Note:
I just added another new show - it took 10 minutes to negotiate the artwork and descriptions - a process that is almost always nearly instant. Give it some time.
The Plex Dance did the trick here. Cheers for pointing me in the right direction! Really appreciate it.
