A lot of channel missing from the EPG

I live in Quebec, when the plex scan it find 21 channel but only 11 has guide, is that normal?
here’s a list of the one not found :
3.1 WCAX-HD
3.2 Movies
3.3 ION
5.1 WPTZ-HD
5.2 The CW
5.3 Me TV
33.1 VPBS-1
33.2 VPBS-2
33.3 VPBS-3
33.4 VPBS-4

If I delete the PVR and recreate it for USA the Canadian channel do not work but the US channel work. Is there a way to have both of them at the same time?

Use this postal code H1A1C2. It should provide all the stations.

I’m 30 miles north of montreal but yes it does fix the issue.

I don’t like the fact that I have to enter a wrong zip code, but at least it work.

Plex use Gracenote EPG data provider. There was a form on this forum to fill up to get EPG issue fixed, but looks like Plex remove it.

Gracenote canadian postal code database is not really accurate. If you want your postal code fixed in Gracenote database, You can try this:
Go to www.zap2it.com. Enter you postal code and select Over The Air. the guide should miss several channels. Then on the bottom on the page click on “contact us” select “channels missing” and send them the list of all channels missing. they will contact Gracenote and fix it. When all channels will appear on zap2it, it should also be ok in plex.
