This is probably the wrong forum, but rather new to Qnap (453A), I too downloaded the CodexPack, and am currently moving all my media files to “Multimedia”, once they’ve have been moved there, I’ll be removing them to a share/media folder and burning the CodexPack in a firey death. However, my question is… on the Qnap server itself, do i need “MEDIA LIBRARY” activated or can i deactivate it and just use PLEX? (CP/Multimedia Management/Media Library) or can i just simply use Plex? the media library (not plex) keeps downloading thumbnails, which plex will do once it is setup, it seems a waste of space. Thank you for any help/suggestions/reprimands.

Will free up resources, if native QNAP stuff is not used anyway…
Plex is self-contained, and as such, do not use any native suff!
