I keep getting “looking for servers” a server could not be found.
Tried everything, reinstalling and cleaning up everything.
Server seems to be running in the background.
Using Chrome on the same pc.
Problem started a few months ago.
- Quit Plex Server with the tray icon
- deinstall it, using the normal Windows control panel
- double-click the attached reg-file (unzip it first) to disable ‘Secure Connections’
- reboot your Windows
- install Plex Server with a freshly downloaded installer file

Many thanks Otto ! The problem in Post 1 from KarelV2 is solved. I assisted in following your directions and the last steps found in ‘Why am I locked out of Server Settings’ lead to the solution. Removing the register values PlexOnlineMail PlexOnlineToken and PlexOnlineUsername did the job !
