Very peculiar problem: All devices can access my Plex server just fine. But only the IOS Plex player can access my friends Plex servers that have shared content with me. All other devices either show that they are not available or a spinning icon that occasionally changes to the normal (person like) icon with a yellow warning triangle.
This started happening when accessing content through my own plex server player. I don’t believe that I updated it. So I updated it… no change. Reinstalled on brand new Ubuntu 22.04 VM - same as before.
Hmm. thought it was still something my server was doing so I accessed it through app.plex.tv/desktop and tried to access my friends content through there, but still no joy.
Has anyone else had this issue? Ideas for troubleshooting or fixes?
