Account linking vanishes

When I sign in to my account on a Hisense smart TV in the VIDAA Plex app I need to enter a code under plex.tv/link to link my account to the smart TV. This works but the link will not be established permanently and I have to enter a code each time I (re)start the app which is super annoying. I’d expect to stay logged in after establishing the link once. What can be done here?

In the Plex app settings, look for “Automatically Sign In.”

Do you have lots of apps installed? Only saying because if it is losing the log in info then it may be that the device is low on memory. TVs generally have very little memory to begin with.

If it lost network access being completely powered down (not just asleep) then it would lose login info as well.
