Account not syncing between app.plex.tv and server

Server Version#: 1.14.0.5470
Player Version#: 2.23.0
OS: Windows 7 up-to-date

Hello all,

I’ve recently signed up for Tidal, currently in the 30 day trial, but have the premium subscription. On my Android app and the web app (app.plex.tv) my subscription plan states “Lifetime Plex Pass + TIDAL Premium”, however on my server (via the Plex Media Player and the local web app) it only states “You have a Lifetime Plex Pass”.

Is there a way to sync up my account to the server? I’ve tried logging out and back in, repairing the server, and uninstalling/reinstalling. I’m not sure what else I can do. Might there be a file(s) on my computer that needs to be removed/cleared? Hopefully, there isn’t something really simple/stupid I’m missing.

If log files are needed please let me know where I can find them, I normally have “Enable Plex Media Server debug logging” turned on and the verbose off.

Thanks in advance,
Mark

You should use app.plex.tv.

The local version of Plex Web that ships with PMS is a few revisions out of date. It does not have the capability to configure the latest online media sources.

So there’s no way, currently, of getting the stand-alone Tidal to be used via my Plex Media Player?

I did optimize the database and clean the bundles, now the PMP shows the Tidal subscription in my account, but not the ability to use Tidal.

See this thread re: PMP

Thank you for the quick responses!

I guess I’ll worry about my server account showing the Tidal subscription whenever Tidal comes to PMP and it’s still not showing.
