I can see multiple “similar” sections when I select an actor.
Ex : when I pick up Dwayne Johnson, I can see that this actor is present in section 4K, 2 times in Animation, 2 times in Films.
This is very likely because I have multiple folders for these duplicate sections (Animation/Films).
Could you please fix this by merging all same sections together seeing that folders details are not visible for end user. We just need to see 1 section visible (ex: Animation) even thought this section contains multiple folders.
If this is not related to folders, please advice a fix to avoid this issue.
Your screenshot looks like it’s a regular search result. You might need to refresh your library metadata or check that there’s no „competing“ embedded metadata in your files.
Most likely those duplicates are based on several same-named entries from different agents used in the same library. With that, Plex sees actors have the same name but cannot verify they’re actually referring to the same person.
Just for reference … there’s 10 actors/persons named „Dwayne Johnson“ listed on IMDb
Edit: What I mean to say… this doesn’t seem to be a bug but a case of bad data.

I already tried to refresh metadata and the actor is the same on all movies (not another Dwayne Johnson as you mentioned).
In one Films section I have many movies, and the second one only 3 !!
This very likely because of different agent/folder.
Any idea how to force refreshing metadata with same agent ?
Please try to refresh the metadata of the libraries in question on the library level. This should apply the agent selection for items which might still be manually matched with some legacy agent.

Actually this is the first thing I did. I also did per movie but did not help !
I confirm that this issue is not related to folders seeing that search per actor returned 2 Films sections for same actor and I can see both folders in results (of both Film section).
Just for reference… if you pick the different sources individually and check the Get Info > View XML option from the movie’s context menu.
What details do you see for that person’s <Role ... > tag/section?
I suppose you should see different IDs for the id attribute.
As a follow-up question. Can you post the full info from the guid attribute in the <Video> element for those videos?
