PLEX needs a better means for users to enter/modify METADATA faster. The MATCH utility is nice however when there’s a lot of work to be done MATCH takes forever.
Emby offers a means to edit the METADATA faster, most of the time all that one needs to correct using their editor is the title, date and add the IMDB and THEMOVIEDB ID’s and Emby will look up the rest.
Please allow us to get the task of adding or editing METADATA faster so one doesn’t spend their time trying to match one movie/show/etc. at a time. I have processed the same library using Emby in 3 days, so far I’ve only been able to MATCH 400 movies/shows in the same time frame. I estimate MATCH to take me about 3 months to complete the same task.
